What I Have Been Doing During Lockdown.

The evening before the lockdown started me and my dad went to countdown to buy some treats for lockdown and when we got to countdown it was very busy and there were so many cars! Then we saw my Aunty and cousin there as well. After we got all the treats for lockdown we had to go to my other cousins house to get something.

After my cousins house we had to go to my dads work to pick up some stuff to bring home. When we got there I stole most of the grapes from the kitchen because they are delicious! Then we went home.

On the second day of lockdown we stayed home and everyone got dressed and hung out in the backyard and me, my mum and sister played piggy in the middle, donkey and catches. After I played with the ball I went and watched a new movie called Vivo. After I watched Vivo I played on my device for a bit and then played with my baby brother.

The next day of lockdown for breakfast we made pancakes. I sprinkled drinking chocolate, some sugar and a marshmallow on top! after my pancake I hoped back in bed and watched a movie.  After my movie I had to get dressed and hop off the device for a little bit .During the day I got a little cold I thought I had Covid but I didn't. Then I started watching TV. When it got night time I fell asleep at 6:00 and woke up at 9:00 and then went into my room to go back to sleep.

After a couple days of lockdown me and my mum, dad and baby brother went on a walk to the beach and then we went past a dairy and secretly got me treats. He got me a sprite, cookie time and lollies  when we got to the beach we went straight home because it was so windy there. when we got home I hoped in bed and my mum, dad and brother hung out in the lounge.

1 week later my mum told me tomorrow I have a google meet with my class. I was so nervous to see all my friends and then on snapchat I went to see if one of my friends were gonna be on. She said no because she did not have a computer. I said "ok then" When I joined I only saw two of my friends.  After saying hi to my friends and my teachers, my teachers said we have a couple stuff to finish on our site and then after talking for a bit we left the google meet and I was struggling to do my work so I decided to do it tomorrow and then me and my aunty went for a bike ride and I rid the bike and she scooted to the river. It has kind of been a fun lockdown!

  2. Kia ora Makaia. It sounds like you are having a delicious time, we had pancakes one of the days as well. It can be tricky to focus on your work during lockdown so just try and do little bits at a time and enjoy being with your family. I haven't watched Vivo so I might have to go check it out :)
